Expiring certificate for api.experianmarketingservices.com

Scheduled for Sep 3, 04:00 - 05:00 UTC

Scheduled

The current Entrust certificate for the above products will be expiring and we’ll be swapping them out on 04:00 UTC on 03 September 2025.

Whats happening?
As Experian changes its certificate from Entrust to Sectigo, clients connecting to EDQ products over HTTPS require their own systems to trust the Certificates presented by Experian. This trust is dependent on the Internal client “Trust stores” in browsers, OS, devices having these certificates installed. These devices usually already have a list of globally accepted root and Intermediate certificates refreshed through OS and device updates, which should include the Sectigo certificates .
As this change is affecting all users of the Entrust Certificate Authority in the industry, you may have already updated your browser(s)/OS/Systems for Sectigo trust chains as necessary.

Action required
Customers must ensure that their integration is able to support the new Sectigo certificate and chain. We advise you to consult with your internal IT team to determine what the required process is for your business. If you have any further questions, please call your Experian support team.

The new Sectigo certificate will be available for download from [indicative date 17 July 2025] onwards at https://docs.experianaperture.io/more/download-certificates/
